¡Hola!
{Yes, I am fully aware that my Spanish still needs work. In the spirit of the recent holiday of Thanksgiving, I am very thankful for Spanish spell-check options, Spanish keyboard settings, and even the occasional word from google translate.}
For those who are Spanish-challenged, basically, I was not awarded the Gilman scholarship, which means that I've got to log some more hours at work and pull some strings and save a whole lot of money, but the trip is by all means still on, and this blog will absolutely still be up and running in both English and Spanish, though probably less frequently than we originally anticipated.
I love being able to see pictures that my classmates are posting right now from Guatemala and I can't wait to be there and experience all that God has in store for me this spring, and then share it with all of you.
